General Information
This half-timbered house built in 1886 is a listed building. It will delight both lovers of historical buildings and relaxation seekers alike, in its beautiful, rural setting with easy access to the nearest town.The area known as Minderheide lies to the west of the town of Minden. It is just over 4 km to the town center. The Landhaus Minderheide, which was still being used as a farm up until a few years ago, is situated in extensive grounds with fruit and walnut trees. An ideal place to relax. The pictures on this website will give you a first impression.
The building itself was completely reconstructed observing the full requirements of the preservation order. The interior houses antique objects and furniture. But personal comfort hasn't been forgotten. The whole building, including the entrance hall, is heated. In the entrance hall there is an open fire and in the living room a cast iron stove.
There is a bath with a tub and shower. In the kitchen next to the gas cooker there is an old cooking stove. If you want to, you can cook like grandmother used to. A dishwasher does the washing up though.
